AUTOMATIC DOOR FAULT FINDING

Diagnosing the problem

Automatic doors rely on a combination of operators, sensors, activation devices, safety equipment and mechanical components working together correctly.

A fault with one component can affect the operation of the complete door system.

During an emergency breakdown call out to your automatic doors, our engineer will identify the issue and complete a BS EN 16005 Authorised Technicians checklist.  

 

You will receive a report and quotation outlining costs for parts or additional works required to bring the door back into safe working order.

​

Any automatic door checks, repairs and maintenance must be conducted by a person qualified to the BS EN 16005 competency exam and recorded in a Log Book to prove the equipment is regularly checked and remains safe in use. ​
